iPad Guided Access feature temporarily  limits your device to a single app preventing users  to shutdown currently running app, switch to other application. Additionally, Guided Access feature allows you to  disable access to Home screen and disable all hardware buttons. To enable Guided Access, go to Home screen, Tap Settings > General > Accessibility > Guided Access.


Turn Guided Access on. Set a passcode that controls the use of Guided Access and prevents someone from leaving an active session. Enable Accessibility Shortcut that will allow you to use Triple-Click the Home button to turn Guided Access on and off.

To start a Guided Access session, launch YAPI  and Triple-click the Home button. Adjust settings for the session: set Touch to On, set Motion to On, touch the Hardware Buttons Options button and disable both Sleep/Wake and Volume buttons.


Tap Start on the top to start Guided Access session.

To end a Guided Access session, triple-click the Home button, enter the Guided Access passcode.
