Adding a Patient Phone to Do Not Contact List

Once in a while, you may get a request from your patient to stop text communications. Such a request may come as text message

or via an email or during a conversation.

Please note that YAPI will automatically add patient’s phone to Do Not Contact List if patient replies with STOP, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE text to any messages that come from your office.

You can add patient’s phone to Do Not Contact List directly from the message. Simply click on the phone number, and select Add this phone to Do Not Contact List option

Click Yes button to confirm

You can add a phone to Do Not Contact List from YAPI Practice Dashboard or Patient Finder screen.

On Dashboard, click on patient’s avatar with the right mouse down and select Set Communication Options option

From Patient Finder,  search for a patient, click on patient’s name with left button down, and select Set Communication Options option

On Communication Options dialog, un-check Enable Communication box, and Click Ok button.

To view Do Not Contact phone list, click Setup and Manage button on the top of Dashboard, and select Do Not Contact Phone List option.
