Finding your iPad’s Unique ID (UDID) when Registering for Beta (Updated)

What is the UDID?

Each iPad has a Unique Device Identifier (UDID), which is a sequence of 40 letters and numbers that is specific to your device. It’s like a serial number. It will look something like this: 0e83ff56a12a9cf0c7290cbb08ab6752181fb54b.

Why do we need the UDID?

Your iPad can only install programs that are approved by Apple. YAPI Mobile in the App Store have been approved by Apple for general distribution, but beta customers get to try the app before it’s in the App store.

We register your device UDID with Apple so they can approve our application especially for your iPad. Note that if you simply downloading YAPI from App Store you don’t need to send us your iPad UDID.

How do I get my UDID?

Launch Safari on your iPad and go to

http://yapi.me/udid

You will see Install Profile screen. Tap  Install button.
